The Legion’s initial main objective was to provide a strong voice for First World War Veterans. However, the advent of the Second World War created a host of new demands. The Legion expanded to offer more dedicated support to Veterans, as well as those serving abroad.
Today, we continue to serve our community, the Canadian Armed Forces, the RCMP, and local families. We donate thousands of dollars annually, host community events, and provide a welcoming space for all veterans and their families. As a loud and strong voice for veterans and their families, we help fund essential local supports. Dedicated and unwavering, we never forget. Our mural stands as a year-round tribute to our commitment and support.
